Mix Tape #32 - I'm Tax-Exempt. My Money's Spent.
I feel like I'm getting more and more laconic on this thing. I guess I feel like writing about music is like fucking about dancing. For me. Others do it really well.
I'll just say that I didn't have high hopes for this one, but it turned around into all kinds of fun and I listened to it a lot. I hope you like it.
Highlights for me: that Randy Rice album is mindblowing...like eavesdropping on someone's therapy session set to music...and I'm going to link to it on the right hand side. And I realize Zoroaster won't be for everyone, but if it's for you? Get. That. Album. It's one of my favorite things from this year.
And, yes, that is Nancy Walker from the Bounty commercials.
Oh. Hey. I'm taking two weeks off from this thing. Partly because it's summer, and partly because I'm going to London. Please don't rob my apartment.
